Chieftain Seed Potatoes

Chieftains are a deep red potato known for their rich color, thick skin, and storage ability.

They can grow to the size of a softball and are perfect for stews, roasts, and winter meals.

The trick is timing the harvest. Pull them too early and they won’t store. Time the skin set just right and you’ll be eating them until next year’s crop comes out of the ground.
